To Configure CAD Converter Settings for a PDMS Data Source

  1. Double-click CSST.mdb (C:\ConstructSimData\Projects\<ProjectName>\CSST) to open CSST-Admin.
  2. From the left pane, expand CSST Set-Up.
  3. Double-click Configure Data Processing Converters. The VCM Data Processing Configuration window opens.
  4. Click CAD Converter Settings. The CAD DataSources dialog opens.
  5. In the CAD DataSources dialog box, click Import.

    The CAD DataSource Import dialog opens.

  6. Browse to the PDMS_i-model.sql file (C:\ConstructSimData\Projects\<ProjectName>\ProjectData\CAD\PDMS\i-model-Configuration) and click Open.
  7. In the CAD DataSource Import dialog, click Import. The CAD datasource setup dialog opens.
  8. In the Value to use column, type the value to use, such as PDMS i-model and click Continue. The "Import has finished successfully" message appears.
  9. In the CAD Data Sources dialog, select the PDMS i-model and click Edit. The i-model Converter Configuration Options dialog opens.
  10. In the Location field, specify the location of the i-model files.
  11. In the Wildcard field, type "*" to add all files in the folder and click OK.
  12. Click Done in the CAD DataSources dialog to complete configuration.
